Archival Projects

My approach to supporting artists and estates is rooted in values of care, collaboration and intellectual curiosity. All of the projects I deliver are tailored, flexible, and often taken place in home or studio settings. My intention is to act as a sounding board, facilitator and strategist and to move organically with the evolution of new ideas and priorities. The work I do seeks to provide space for artists to shape their own legacies, and to help estates develop generative resources that situate artists’ work in the present.

I have delivered over 50 tailored archive and legacy projects with artists and estates across the UK alongside conservators, photographers, and other experts. Recent examples include; Claire Barclay, the Estate of Maud Sulter, the Estate of Donald Rodney, Franklyn Rodgers, Vanley Burke, the Estate of Katy Dove, Rose English, Hayley Newman, Rose Frain, Cathy de Monchaux, Sarah Staton and more. A full list of past projects can be found here.

Many of these projects have led to tangible outcomes including; documentary films, exhibitions, publications, symposia, curatorial residencies, acquisition of archives to public collections and more.
